Exam #2


Exam #2 was a bit easier than the first exam. I studied twice as hard than I did for the first, Iwas eager to make a better grade even though I still succeeded the first time. I would hope that all my studying showed. I anticipate on being successful in this class. I occasionally forget my homework, but even then I still complete it. Exam #2 was not as difficult or challenging as I thought, thankfully. My expectations were to achieve a better test score and be more detailed on the vocabulary so that I get a chance to have a right answer. I even attempting all the vocabulary parts of speech for bonus. What did not meet my expectations was how short it was, giving me less of a chance to gain more points. Rather, the amount of questions provided carrying most of my grade. I had to trust myself on my answers I wrote, I had to make sure nothing was left out or not put properly. Only hoping that I did not miss anything so that I can be the best I can. I will approach the upcoming exams the same as I did for the second exam. I studied once daily at least for thirty minutes of quick review. Every day I reviewed something different so tat I covered all the material. I even skipped my first period class Tuesday morning to get more studying in (not that I will skip every time). Honestly I did not plan on skipping till that morning, I did feel bad, even though one absence would not hurt me.
To inform my classmates on Mr.Still's exam's I would tell them that they require deep thinking and multiple good technic study strategies. Planning ahead and not waiting until the last day to look at or review over the material. At least looking at the review sheet or your notes, maybe three days before the test and if you have time create a study sheet/review paper so that you have all the material in one spot that makes better sense to you. I am grateful I had studied as much and constantly that I did. I am really looking forward to seeing my grade so that I know if my studying techniques worked or did not. If I did not do well I will probably talk to Mr.Still and see what I can do to improve on.

    Mackenzie - Looks like you just stuck a photograph of your paintings on the Exam #2 Blog that was due Tuesday. You should still do Blog #3. Maybe you could include a photo of your record player and some of your vinyl.

About Me

My name is Mackenzie Roberts. I am a nineteen year old college student starting my first semester. I have two siblings but they do not live with me. My sister is named Meagan, she has two kids named Perry and CJ. My brother is named Drake. An interesting fact about Drake is that he was drafted out of high school to play baseball for the Indians but recently resigned. Spring Semester 2018

Spring Semester 2018 Blinn College This semester I went in thinking I would be struggling to pass and keep up with my work, but turns out it was the opposite. During the semester I expected myself to fall behind and not do so well, but I actually ended up succeeding in all my courses I signed up for. I signed up for four courses this semester: speech, reading, learning framework, and math. I kept up with all of them, passing and making good grades on tests and quizzes. I actually found them too easy, at some points I would ask myself how I got in such easy courses. Which is fine, I have learned from each course but I still feel as if I wasted my time in these classes. More specifically, learning framework, this class was completely unnecessary.
